Overview
Design work for two original characters, Clera and Spek, spanning early sketches, turnarounds, and finished character studies.
Goal
Get both characters reading clearly on their own before ever putting them in a scene together.
Approach
Sketched each character separately first, then worked out how they read against each other once the individual designs held up. Pushed turnarounds only after a character's personality was settled in a single still.
